Is an absolute mess - no doubt about it. But it's my mess and I thrive there. I like it there in my dark little hole. I miss my office.

Hubster is on midnights again :P Oh how I loathe midnights! I'm working from my son's computer today since he's not here to fuss at me. Someday I'll either get a laptop or figure out how to stay somewhat organized so that my office can be in the living room again. Doubtful but I can dream... the first option is far more likely but unfortunately, not an option until probably the end of the year, if then.

I do however have a grand list of thing I need to do this week.

at least 2 crits for DII. if I can do more, I will.
Go through HH proofs. again. and again. and again until I'm crosseyed with words that I know much too well.
Finish and photograph the first Leirus and post here to get reactions... I don't know that she'll be cool enough to do what I want to do with her so I might just keep her instead. Depends I guess.
rewrite my 'about me' section of my website.
create a new page of the site devoted strictly to HH
modify, or prepare the modifications for the main page of my site to include HH and all the further information. 

There's some other stuff I need to do too - housework, laundry, prepping Crazyhorse for his first day back to school next week. AND my audio equipment is supposed to get here Friday. That makes me happy!

(Hey Val - if I screw it up the first time out of the gate - I may be pestering you a bit :P)

Got the first revised chapter of Thosha up for crit. Still think I'm probably lacking in the descriptive arena - it's one of my biggest downfalls. I can see it clearly and I suppose I expect everyone else to live inside my head. But, it's definately better than the first time around. I'm pounding through the new Chapter 19 and going back over the new Chapter Two. I hope to have it ready for posting tomorrow. If I get Thosha done (again) by my birthday, I'll be a happy girl. 

Working on clockwork critters for an antho I'd like to get into and this has spawned a drive to create something a little more tangible. This is one of those moments when I wish I had a talent for machinery. The things that live inside my head could be so freaking cool if I could make them real. But - the chances of that are nil. I'll settle for shadows that I can build with wire and beads and gears and such.
